Update 2/16
1. Review of extended abstracts (ICCHP 2016 and ULD 2016)
The review process for ICCHP and ULD 2016 was highly competitive and so we offer our congratulations on the acceptance of successful papers! A three step reviewing procedure was implemented to guarantee a professional and fair decision:
- Each submission was reviewed by at least three members of the Programme Committee.
- The review results for each submission were assessed by one chair (“assessor”) and in case more reviews were done.
- A small panel, staying in contact with the assessor, prepared the final decision for each contribution.
A total of 167 short and full papers were accepted for ICCHP, a total of 17 papers were accepted for the ULD track. Check ICCHP website for further information on deadlines and our submission information for preparing camera ready papers!
2. YRC - Young Researchers Consortium 2016
Identification and support of "the next generation of experts" ensures the further development of Assistive Technology (AT) and eAccessibility as well as research continuity. ICCHP is dedicated to this goal and invites young researchers to take part in the ICCHP Young Researchers Consortium 2016. The aim of this Consortium is to reach out to and engage with young researchers who are starting out to be part of the AT/eAccessibility field (see topics of ICCHP). The YRC enables its attendees to connect with the community and to consider a long-term commitment. We ask leaders in our field, supervisors of outstanding young researchers (at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, in diploma, masters, PhD programs or in application oriented research in companies) with a strong relation to AT and eAccessibility to invite, guide, motivate and support these individuals to participate and submit a contribution!
- Prospective deadline for submissions is April 15, 2016
- Prospective deadline for a notification of acceptance is May 15, 2016.
For further information on this highly successful activity of ICCHP, check ICCHP website and the section on key dates for an overview on deadlines.
